Valentine Card

Well Folks, I am back and

 today I can finally show you a card I made for my friend

 for Valentine's Day. She asked me to hold on to it until

she came to visit so that is why I am posting it so late.

Hey better late then never I guess LOL.

There you have it. She was really pleased with it

so it was worth the wait. I am having a few Internet

problems tonight off and on so I guess I had best quit

 while I am ahead and post this LOL

Craft Room Light

Hi Everyone!

Today I wanted to share with you a project

I did for my craft room. Since getting my Vegabond

and making the cabinet for it to sit on I found I needed lighting for
 it and I was not able to find the right item in the right price

 so I ended up making one LOL. Let me just say it didn't

turn out the best BUT it sure does do the job A okay!!

I thought that it would be so darn easy

 well it might have been for someone who knows carpentry

 but that is not me LOL Any ways here it is!

Here it is with the light on.

 Ahhhh I can finally see what I am doing LOL!

Hopefully soon I can get back to my paper crafting,

 IF my mojo will return that is LOL
 I sure do hate these dry creative times that I go through,
any ideas how to get it going again?

Treasure Chest Challenge

Hi Everyone!

Hope your enjoying your day today.

My good friend Darlene aka Dars Crafty Creations and I

went shopping together a while back and bought items to

 alter and this is one of the items we both got and challenged

 each other to alter, then post on our blogs at the same time.

Here is a snippet of hers

You need to go see her fabulous treasure chest, she is so talented!!!

 Its so much fun wondering what the other one

 is doing with theirs LOL and its all so hush hush LOL.

You know Top Secret LOL

What fun we have doing this!!!! Hope you like our creations and

 that they inspire you to try something different!

Here is what mine turned out like.

It's hard to see but the flowers all have stickles and rhinestones

to make them sparkle like the paper I used to cover the

Chest on the outside has in it's flowers which again

doesn't show up in the photograph.

Kids fun foam (I glued strips of left over paper to it

added the gold to match the outside and layed it

on the bottom of the inside. I did not glue it down

 incase whoever buys it decides they do not want it in there.

This sure was fun !!!

Birthday Card For a Friend

Hi Everyone !

 I am doing better, thank you all for the

 nice words of encouragement! I have missed

crafting for sure and I am glad to be back at it.

Here is a birthday card I made for a dear friend,

but  first I should explain that she and I share a

warped sense of humor and love to tease each other.

You will understand when you see the inside

of this card LOL !

New Camera News

Hello my friends!!

I am so sorry its been so long since I have posted any

craft projects. I have two excuses, ahem, I mean reasons LOL

First one is I have had to take it easy due to neck problems

 again which is getting a bit better.

Second reason is my camera died, for good this time!

 I finally got a new Camera YAY!!!

BUT

I am having problems figuring out how to use it LOL.

So please bear with me I will be back on here

as soon as I can.

Graphics 45 Christmas Card

Hi Everyone!

Well I thought I would try and fix my camera myself LOL!

I figured, why not, since it was not working anyways, sooooo

 I took the batteries out and toyed around with the battery

 contacts as well as gave it a slight thump,

ya know a little stress release is good every now and then LOL

AND low and behold it worked !!!

Ahhhh just for a short time though LOL LOL

 Oh well atleast I got one project

 photographed, surely not the best of pictures.

After Christmas I will be getting a new camera!!!!!!!!

So enough about that here is the project I made.

This is my first attempt at a stair step card,

Wow they are so much fun !!



I used Graphics 45 paper from my stash that I had saved

 from a few years back. The stamp is from Stampin Up.

I used TH distress inks as well as SU markers,

some stickles for the candles and a MS holly punch.

 The embellishments also came from my stash.

 And of course I had to use my Pilot gold marker.

Well there you have it,just sorry the picture isn't very good.

Hopefully my next camera will take really good pictures

 despite me not knowing what I am doing LOL
