Tim Holtz Class

Hi Everyone!!
I know I have been MIA for a long time now, sorry. Between the weather being so nice here and me helping do the outside work, mulching, planting a dogwood tree and adding one ton of rocks, all of which I planned, purchased and then supervised (with some minor manual labor on my part) and a bad sinus/ear infection, I have not been doing any stamping or crafting lately. One day a few weeks ago I did have my friend Darlene over to try and figure out our bind it all machines, LOL but other then that, I had not done any crafting and I think my mojo has fled LOL. After today  though, I think my mojo may return. I just got a major mojo shot in the arm !!! LOL Why you ask,WELLLLLLL today my friend Kris and I were very lucky and got to attend a stamping class given by none other then Tim Holtz himself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  WOW is all I can say!!!! Tim is without a doubt ,one of the best teachers around, as well as a fabulous artist !!! He is soooo sweet and so darn funny. What a gracious person too, he is so patient and helpful. I can not say enough good things about him!!! He signed autographs for everyone and let everyone take pictures with him. Me included BUT unfortunately I didn't think to take my camera, duh,so a very kind lady from Canada took one of him and I and will email it to me after she gets home, if it turned out I will post it later. After the class today Tim surprised us all and gave us five ink pads of our choice, and some distress stickles, some glossy accent, a mini mister, and one of his new idea-ology masks. WOW was that a BIG surprise to all of us !! He had two other different classes today, but they were all sold out durn it all. I pray next year he will come back, I will definately take all of his classes if he does !! The class was held at the John S Knight center in Akron. Tomorrow is the Adventures in Stamping Rubber Stamp Convention it is awesome, if you have never been there you really should go! Tim will be there both days of the convention too. I am planning to go both days with some friends if I hold up LOL.

Here is what Tim had us making today.  They were really fun to make but like usual they look so much better in real life. Working with the new products he has coming out now was a real treat, you have to go check them out!!

( If you look closely at the lower left hand side of the tag on the
left you will see Tim Holtz
autographed it for me !!!! How awesome is that!!!)

I had so much fun working in this type of medium today, that now I just HAVE to go shopping LOL LOL Tim is such an enabler!!!!! You know how it is, you just have to have
someone to blame !!! LOL Hope you like my new tags.
I pray your all doing well and enjoying good health. So until next time stay healthy.

Another Easter card!

Happy Easter to everyone !
I hope your day was filled with love, laughter and true peace. Today I wanted to share a card I made for a very dear friend of mine. It was made using an image a good stamping friend of mine gave me, thank you Darlene. The lily image comes from deliciousdoodles! The coloring was done with Stampin Up markers. I also used SU cardstock, ribbon and one of their retired stamp sets for the wording. A Martha Stewart punch as well as a Provo craft die were also used. I think it came out very delicate looking, just right for Easter. I sure hope she liked it! I enjoyed making it for her, she is such a lovely person and has blessed my life beyond measure!

Again Happy Easter to everyone!!!!
