Merry Christmas Eve To All !!

Today I want to share a card I made for
my good stamping friend Kris. You can check
out her new blog here.

I didn't do any stamping on the front of the card ,
I used a great image from a Crafty Secrets booklet.
The ribbons were from Walmart. The flower I got at Archivers.
I used some feathers I had, after I dabbed some
distress inks on them. Distress inks are by far my
favorite stamping must have!! The pearls are from Hobby Lobby,
and my lace is from Stampers Dream.
Well I have to run time is moving too fast today
and lots to do yet, so for now,
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and remember

Wow! I'm Posting a second card today LOL!!

This one is for Joan's Garden weekly Challenge #26.

The guide lines were:
1.Use some kind of snow or snow flakes
2.White is the color for the week, so
make sure you have white on your card
                                                     3.Do some Chalking
4.Create some kind of a window look

So here is my entry

I used SU white cardstock for all of it. The
sleigh scene is a SU stamp set and a MS snowflake punch
as well as a small snowflake punch I had and I do not
know who made it sorry. I also used chalk, prismacolor pencils
and distress inks. So there you have it my entry for the last
challenge of this year at Joan's Garden. Go check it
 out and have fun!!

Brodie Christmas Card

Hello Everyone!

{{{Burrrrrr}}}} hope your all staying warm where ever you are!
It has been soooo cold here in NE Ohio and lots of snow.
Guess we will have a white Christmas this year!!

Well on to my card for today. I made this card as
my family Christmas Card it features my best friend,
Brodie!! Isn't he cute !!! LOL

He is the best dog I think I have ever had, even though
we have had some great dogs, he just has such a sweet
personality, and great temperment and loves everyone.
He is an Australian Shepherd/ Brittany Spaniel 3 yr old.
On this card
I used SU CS and designer paper from JoAnnes.
The ribbon and jingle bell is from Walmart.
My favorite punch again from MS, just love that punch!!
The word stamp is SU and I used gold EP.
His picture was taken at Pet Co
and what an ordeal that was LOL !!
He wanted to go visit with all the other dogs and
people there waiting to get their pictures taken.
He loves to be with them and barks until he can
go see them. His two down falls are barking until
he visits dogs and wanting to be petted by everyone!!
LOL He is a true lover of others!!! We are working
on those two aspects so he isn't pesty but other then
that he is very mild mannered.
Well enough of my bragging about my boy LOL!
Merry Christmas and remember in all the hussle and bustle
of the season that:

JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!!

Relax and enjoy each day!!

Quick Christmas Card

Happy Friday!!!

Tonight I want to share a cute little Christmas
card I made. I made a set of these for my neighbors.
The image I used of the cute little puppy looks
alot like their little puppy, "Pepper". He's such
a cutie and full of energy!! My Brodie loves
to run in our backyard with Pepper.

I used SU regular and glossy cardstock and designer
paper from JoAnne's. The ribbon is from Michaels.
I also used my favorite MS punch, evergreen branch.
The snowflake punch is an unknown punch in my stash.
I chose white EP with versmark for the SU word
stamp on the front. The puppy stamp I got
at Beescrappy in Medina but I am
not sure of the company name, sorry.

I hope you like my little cutie, I know its a break from the
traditional Christmas images but I liked him and so
did my neighbors when I took it to them.
Hugs to all

Joans Garden Challenge # 25

Hello everyone!!

Burrrrr it sure is cold here in NE Ohio today.
I took my dog out for a very short walk a little
bit ago,I couldn't take the cold LOL!! I'm
getting too old for that I guess.LOL
Enough of that, here is my entry for Joan's
fabulous Challenge # 25 today!! You must
see the great prizes she is giving away!!

Here is the information about some of her prizes,

Included are 14 Heartfelt Creations stamps and
3 dies for a total of over $284.To be eligible to win it,
all the information. Hurry it ends Dec 9th!!!!

Here is some information about my card:
I used SU Cardstock, and Velveteen paper I got at
a wonderful little Stamp Store in Mespotamia Ohio
called"Stoltzfus Stamp Shack". The accessories are
from my stash. The stamps are from Heartfelt Creations,
aren't they great! I used Gold EP and a gold Pilot Marker.
Plus Glimmer Mist for added sparkle which doesn't
show well in my photograph, sorry. I stamped the
image 2 times on to the velveteen paper using
versamark ink and then gold embossed it, then cut them
out and layered different parts using dimensionals
and glue to shape them. It doesn't show well
in the picture how layered it really is. I even
did the leaves the same way and then glued
them directly over the original stamped image on the
 base of the card.
So now you have seen mine go check out her
blog and get busy making yours and good luck to
all who enter her challenge !!!
God Bless

Joan's Garden Challenge #24

Happy Tuesday !!!!!

Today I want to share with you my card that I
I had lots of trouble photographing it, for some reason
the colors would not come out right. Hum guess I need to
take some photography classes LOL.
Well here goes, it truly does look so different
in real life, isn't that what we all say LOL!!

The challenge was to "Create a Thanksgiving card,
Use something Fallish such as Leaves, Pumpkins or Indian
Corn (if you don't have a stamp use a leaf from
your tree), use The color green and Some
kind of swirl or vine.
The image I used is from Vintage Holiday Crafts. the CS
is from Su as well as one stamp. The other
stamp is from "My sentiments Exactly". I used SU markers,
Tim Holtz Distress inks and lots of dimensionals.
The ribbon is unknown from a friend. The paper is
from Mirabelle, oh do I love their paper!!!
I also used a Provo Craft vine die. I cut and layered
several areas of the image to make it 3-D, not sure
if you can tell.I wish the photo was better but that's
how it goes I guess. Hopefully you
will play along with Joan's Challenge too!
So until the next time hugs to you all!

Quick Thanksgiving Card

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Today I have a quick Thanksgiving Card I did
for some friends of mine. I used an image from
 an online site,Vintage Holiday Crafts.

I loved this vintage image and thought it would make
a quick and easy card. Well famous last words, it seemed like it
took me forever for some reason, have you ever had one
of  THOSE days  LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used a MS punch, SU cardstock, Ribbon from
Michaels, Designer paper from Mirabelle and a button
from my stash. NOW it sounds easy, but duh ,it just
came together hard for some reason LOL. Oh well
hope they like it. IF they only knew how long some of these
cards took to make  LOL !
Well hope your having sunshine where ever you are,
its cool but sunny here in NE Ohio.
Blessings to all !!!!!!

50th Anniversary Card

Happy Wednesday to all !!!

Hope your all enjoying this wonderful day.
Well today I have a very special card I want to share.
It's a card I made for some very dear friends who are
celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary soon.
As usual it's hard to see how fancy this looks
but in real life its very elegant & rich looking.

Not sure if you can tell or not but this was made
using SU metallic gold CS. Plus I edged all of it with my gold
pilot marker, which I love doing, it adds such an elegant
touch to a project. The stamps used on this were from
Rubber Stampede,Close to my heart, Sweet Stamps, & SU.
Nesties were used, including the brand new grands.
I love them and a side note, several in the packs will actually
work in my big shot machine, several are too large,
but do work great in the Grand Calibur
machine ( My birthday present tee hee ). Back to
the info LOL. Pearls are from Michaels. The flowers are Prima's
and the leaves are from Pat Catans, minus the wire LOL.
Versamark and gold embossing powder were used.
Lots of dimensionals were used to make it 3D layered. So
there you have it, my special card for a very special couple.
I will be adding a personal  letter with their gift and
shipping it out to them very soon.
Would love to know what you think of it.
Until next time, blessings to you all!
Hugs

Joan's Garden Challenge #22

Hello my blogger friends!

Tonight I have a cute little Magnolia card to
share that I made and taught at my last class.
Hopefully she fills all the requirements
for Joan's Challenge #22. I think she is just
cute as can be, and she is 3-D which I love.

It's hard to see how dimensional she is
and how much sparkle there is from all the
stickles. Sorry I am not very good at taking photo's.
So you will have just have to trust me LOL.

I borrowed this cute Magnolia stamp from my friend,
Kim,sorry but I do not know her name. But she is
so much fun to work with.
 Here are all the dets:
Nestabilities were used, as were SU & MS punches.
I also used my swiss dot embossing folder.
The coloring was done using Prisma pencils
and SU markers. The other stamps used were
SU as was the CS. The gold brads were in my
stash. I put small dots all over the background
inside the circle using my gold pen. Lots
of dimensionals were used in this card.

I hope you like my little cutie.
So now you have to go check out Joan's Garden if
you haven't already! She has lots of great stuff for sale
and a wonderful blog full of inspiration!!!!

Doilie Christmas Card

Good Evening Friends!

 Hope your staying dry tonight!
It's been showers off and on all day today not bad, just
enough to be cold and yucky! LOL
Tonights card I am sharing is one that is a
little bit time consuming but in my opinion worth it.
Let me know what you think.

The cardstock I used for this is navy with white speckles on it
that I bought at Hollo's in Brunswick Ohio. The
silver doilie is from Michaels I think, but it's been a
while since I bought it LOL. Usually they are easy to find
especially if the store has a cake decorating section.
I used silver EP and black ink. I colored the wonderful
image in with SU Markers. The stamp is from, All night Media.
I used red stickles but it doesn't show up in the picture.
I also used the silver Gelly Roll pen for more added
sparkle on it.The ornament is popped up with dimensional tape.
I did this card in one of my classes and the ladies seemed
 to like it real well.
That is it for tonight, hope you stay warm and dry.

No Time To Stamp Challenge #158

Happy Wednesday !!!

Today my project is again another challenge, this one is
for Sharon Johnson's, No Time To Stamp Challenge#158

Isn't this lady in her fabulous Sari just beautiful!
The colors are so stunning together. I used SU CS,Copper
and choc. chip then distress it with TH distress inks.
I embossed the copper with a embossing folder.
The word stamp is from Art Impressions and I used copper EP.
I thought this would be a fun one for a friend of mines
birthday that is coming up. The buttons were in my stash.
I did add the small metal dots to two of the buttons,
they matched my other button perfectly. This was such a fun
challenge. If you have not done any of the Challenges you really
should try it, it sure does take you out of your comfort zone.
Well that is it for today.

Happy Friday to all my stamping friends!

I hope your looking forward to a nice weekend,
I am planning on playing in my stamp room if at all possible.
Today was a shopping day with some stamping friends to
one of my favorite little stamp stores called,
Stoltzfus Stamp Shack, out in Amish country,
in West Farmington, Ohio. Owned by my good friend
Mary Ann Stoltzfus. We had just a delightful day.
Well enough about my day, I wanted to share with you
a Penny Black card I made. Such a cute image!!!

I used SU cardstock and designer paper. Martha Stewart
punch, some old buttons from my stash.I colored it all
with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. Love those pencils,
so easy to work with! As I said the cute girl stamp is from
Penny Black, the saying stamps, one is unknown,

Another Graphic 45

   Happy Monday!

It's been a busy day today doing the normal household tasks,
like laundry and cleaning. Phew glad it's done for now.
Well it's time for another Graphic's 45 card I made, again
this one is out of scraps I had left from another project.
Hope you like it.

The colors did not photograph good for some reason,
probably due to my lack of skill with a camera LOL
I used a great stamp from Hampton Art that I got at
Michael's. I used Prismacolor pencils for a touch
of color. The beautiful paper is from Graphic's 45,
the CS is SU and the background stamp is also SU and
I used black embossing for it. The ribbon is from
Walmart. The flower I made using the Core D' ination
CS, then used the Nestibilities to cut it out and then
used the Cuttlebug embossing folder, then lightly sanded it.
The flower looks pink but in real life it isn't that bright.
The brad in the center of the flower I made using
the Graphic's 45 paper and the I-Top brad maker.
That is a cool tool to play with. And there you have
it another easy peasy card.
Bless you for stopping by and taking a look.
I would love if you would leave a comment
and let me know what you think of my art work
good or bad.

thank you!!!  Please let me know what you think of it.
Well on to my project for today.

This card was made out of scraps I had left over
from the scissor wall art I did in a previous posting.
I used Graphic 45 paper, SU cardstock and Stamp,
a Martha Stewart punch, Tim Holtz Distress ink
and ribbon from Michaels. A very fast and easy
card to make and I love how it turned
out very Vintage looking. That's it for right
now have to run, hope to post more later today.

My Friends Wooden Book.

Happy Monday to all my friends!

Phew is it ever humid out today. I just got back
from walking my dog and its waaaaaaay too
hot out there for me LOL. Hope your all staying
nice and cool. I have been busy doing house
work and laundry today, but I wanted to take a
minute and share my friend Kris's wooden book
project. We worked on them together the other day,
you can see mine below in a previous posting. She
finished hers recently and I wanted to share it
 with you. Isn't it lovely!!

The paper used, was one from the wonderful Webster's
paper collection. Miscellaneous lace pieces, a
bookmark tassle, unknown flower with a brad in the
center, labels one nestie and sewing notions were
all used on this. She also used Tim Holtz crackle
paint on the wooden box prior to adding all
the pretties. This project was made for her
friend who is moving out of state, she filled
the hidden drawer with inspirational notes.
What a wonderful gift from her heart.
So delicate and lovely.
Really great job Kris!
Well that's it for now, hope you
all come back again soon.

Wall Art

                                  Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I have another unusual project to share with you.
Its an unfinshed wooden item, infact it's
two unfinished wooden items.

close ups of each stamp

Name of the Beauty Shop added
"Abby Gale's"

The Scissors are from Hobby Lobby and I painted them with
black acrylic paint. The frame is from Michaels, I covered it in
Graphic 45 paper both the sides and the background. I
then stamped four images from Hampton Arts stamps, that
I also got at Michaels. Oh do I love those stamps! I used
Distress inks and black EP. The ribbon and brads are from SU.
The beads and buttons are unknown from my stash. The
black pearls on the Scissors are from Archivers,I hand drew
flourishes to fit in the space and then used crystal
effects to glue them on. The picture sure does not do
it justice. I took several photos in several different settings
and only this one came even remotely close to what
it really looks like. LOL A photographer I am not!!!
But hope you get the idea. I am hoping to sell this
to the beauty shop where I get my hair done.
Hope you have been inspired by my art work
to try another medium to work with. I have several
more wooden items to play with so stay tuned LOL.
