Joan's Garden Tag Challenge

Hello & Happy Saturday to you all!!
( Just a quick note my tag won ! Thank you to all who voted !)

I hope your enjoying your weekend. It's still cold here in NE Ohio,
but atleast no new snow today, so far that is LOL.
Ya never know here what it's going to do.

So now on to my project for today. I did a tag for

It was very hard to photograph, the rhinestone and gold
embossing as well as the metallic gold CS gave a glare
that was so hard to get rid of! Grrrrr took so many
tries I almost gave up  KWIM.
So believe me it really does look better in real life.
Isn't that what we all say LOL!!
BUT it does LOL LOL
Now on to what I used. The stamps are
Penny Black & Hero Arts. The ribbon and
rhinestone are from my stash. The flowers and leaves
are from Michaels of course LOL. CS is SU as is the
gold EP. I used another MS punch and my
nestabilities label four.
Well I hope you like it. So now go over to Joan's and
check out all the cool tags everyone is making!!
I have a card all ready to actually mount this tag
to, but that will be in another posting at a later date.
Blessings to all of you and thank you so much
for stopping by. Please feel free to leave a comment
 love hearing from you.

Joan's Garden Challenge # 3

Hello my blogging friends!

Today I want to share with you my entry for

Here are the requirements:

         1. Make a box...any kind of box will work....

                                                        even an alter box

                                                    2. a flourish

                                                    3. a butterfly

                                                    4. Make a flower (alright...if you can't

make one use one you have purchased)

As you can see besides the box, I made a bound
note pad with 8 pages of scripture verses in it
for a dear friend who is going through a
really roughtime right now. I hope these help her.

As you can see I used my oval nestabilities,
Tim Holtz die, and distress inks. The DP is from K&C.
The fabulous image is a Sugar Nellie digi.
Oh my gosh I am in love with these new images!!
I also used two MS punches. The stamps that were used
are from, River City Rubber Works, ODBD, & SU.
The drawer pull is from Hobby Lobby. The flower
was from my stash and I used Distress ink reinker
to age it.

Well that is my creation for today,
I hope you all get inspiration from it.

Remember to make someones day a little
 better in some way.

Thanks for stopping and come back again.
Hugs and Blessings to you all.

Joan's Garden Challenge # 2

Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope your enjoying this weather today, its
cool here in NE Ohio but we have sunshine which
 is sooo nice !!!

Well today I want to share with you a card I
did for Joan's Garden Challenge. It was fun ,you should go
check out her site and see all the great stuff she has in
her store, besides her fun card challenges!! She also has a tag
challenge, which you can vote on the one you like best, so go
see what everyone is creating and have fun!!
Oh yes and vote for your favorite!

Now on to my fun card. As you know I love
Vintage stuff so here is my entry for today.

I used an image from online that was free, sorry
I can not remember where though. Isn't she simpy
adorable. Reminds me so much of some of the
Valentines I got as a kid waaaaaay back when LOL !
I used a sizzix die for the word. Then I added stickles
for a little glitz on the word as I did for the heart
she was holding. I punched out a heart with my MS punch
and added another free image on top of that.
SU ribbon ,CS and DP were also used.
The rhinestone heart is from my friend Janis.
Thanks girlfriend!
Now that you have seen my Vintage Valentine go
check out what the others have done and get inspired!!
I would love if you would let me know
what you think of my card. Thanks for stopping by.

Joan's Garden Tag Challenge #2

Hello Everyone!

Well it's challenge time again! This time its a tag challenge
but I went ahead and added it to a card for Christmas
next year. Trying to get a head start LOL.

I love this Graphic's 45 paper !! I used SU CS for the base,
The tag is a Tim Holtz tag that I ran  through his brick
embossing folder, then I used distress inks. My favorite
MS punch fit with this just right I thought. I added
spica pen to the branches, which is hard to see in the photo
but IRL looks really cool. The trim is from my friend Kris
"Thank You, Kris". I also used wired ribbon from my
stash, as well an old button I had. I outlined
all of it with my Gold Pilot marker. The stamp from Endless
Creations was stamped in Versamark then I used
 detailed gold EP.

Well I hope you like my tag/card.
Now if I can just get all the rest of my Christmas
cards done that I need for next year I would really
be ahead ! Doubt that will happen LOL But
one could hope LOL!!!

I pray your all staying warm and healthy.
I am still fighting the last of a bad sinus & upper
respiratory problem. Even my dog has been sick
with something like it too, which required
a trip to the Vet! He seems to be getting better.
Praise God!!! He is my best friend for sure!

Hugs to all

Joan's Garden Challenge # 1 for 2011

Hello blogging friends!!!

Today I wanted to share with you my first
 Joans' Challenge card for 2011

The stamp I used, is from Loralie Designs isn't she a cutie!
I paper pieced her, which is out of my comfort zone for sure.
And was that time consuming but worth it IMO.
The paper is from October Afternoon, "Thift Shop".
CS & DP is all Stampin Up, MS punch, & pearls
are from Michaels. For the die I used my
 new Grand Nesties, awesome product.
The ticket is from Tim Holtz, Adage Tickets set.
I colored it all with my copic markers.
It fits all the requirements which are as follows:

1. Use some kind of animal, bird or whatever
2. Use a floral background paper
 3. Do something that takes you out of your comfort zone
4. Use some kind of Die

Well that is it for today, I hope you go
to Joan's and check it out !!
