Joan's Garden Challenge #24

Happy Tuesday !!!!!

Today I want to share with you my card that I
I had lots of trouble photographing it, for some reason
the colors would not come out right. Hum guess I need to
take some photography classes LOL.
Well here goes, it truly does look so different
in real life, isn't that what we all say LOL!!

The challenge was to "Create a Thanksgiving card,
Use something Fallish such as Leaves, Pumpkins or Indian
Corn (if you don't have a stamp use a leaf from
your tree), use The color green and Some
kind of swirl or vine.
The image I used is from Vintage Holiday Crafts. the CS
is from Su as well as one stamp. The other
stamp is from "My sentiments Exactly". I used SU markers,
Tim Holtz Distress inks and lots of dimensionals.
The ribbon is unknown from a friend. The paper is
from Mirabelle, oh do I love their paper!!!
I also used a Provo Craft vine die. I cut and layered
several areas of the image to make it 3-D, not sure
if you can tell.I wish the photo was better but that's
how it goes I guess. Hopefully you
will play along with Joan's Challenge too!
So until the next time hugs to you all!

Quick Thanksgiving Card

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Today I have a quick Thanksgiving Card I did
for some friends of mine. I used an image from
 an online site,Vintage Holiday Crafts.

I loved this vintage image and thought it would make
a quick and easy card. Well famous last words, it seemed like it
took me forever for some reason, have you ever had one
of  THOSE days  LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
I used a MS punch, SU cardstock, Ribbon from
Michaels, Designer paper from Mirabelle and a button
from my stash. NOW it sounds easy, but duh ,it just
came together hard for some reason LOL. Oh well
hope they like it. IF they only knew how long some of these
cards took to make  LOL !
Well hope your having sunshine where ever you are,
its cool but sunny here in NE Ohio.
Blessings to all !!!!!!
Hugs

50th Anniversary Card

Happy Wednesday to all !!!

Hope your all enjoying this wonderful day.
Well today I have a very special card I want to share.
It's a card I made for some very dear friends who are
celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary soon.
As usual it's hard to see how fancy this looks
but in real life its very elegant & rich looking.

Not sure if you can tell or not but this was made
using SU metallic gold CS. Plus I edged all of it with my gold
pilot marker, which I love doing, it adds such an elegant
touch to a project. The stamps used on this were from
Rubber Stampede,Close to my heart, Sweet Stamps, & SU.
Nesties were used, including the brand new grands.
I love them and a side note, several in the packs will actually
work in my big shot machine, several are too large,
but do work great in the Grand Calibur
machine ( My birthday present tee hee ). Back to
the info LOL. Pearls are from Michaels. The flowers are Prima's
and the leaves are from Pat Catans, minus the wire LOL.
Versamark and gold embossing powder were used.
Lots of dimensionals were used to make it 3D layered. So
there you have it, my special card for a very special couple.
I will be adding a personal  letter with their gift and
shipping it out to them very soon.
Would love to know what you think of it.
Until next time, blessings to you all!
Hugs

Joan's Garden Challenge #22

Hello my blogger friends!

Tonight I have a cute little Magnolia card to
share that I made and taught at my last class.
Hopefully she fills all the requirements
for Joan's Challenge #22. I think she is just
cute as can be, and she is 3-D which I love.

It's hard to see how dimensional she is
and how much sparkle there is from all the
stickles. Sorry I am not very good at taking photo's.
So you will have just have to trust me LOL.

I borrowed this cute Magnolia stamp from my friend,
Kim,sorry but I do not know her name. But she is
so much fun to work with.
 Here are all the dets:
Nestabilities were used, as were SU & MS punches.
I also used my swiss dot embossing folder.
The coloring was done using Prisma pencils
and SU markers. The other stamps used were
SU as was the CS. The gold brads were in my
stash. I put small dots all over the background
inside the circle using my gold pen. Lots
of dimensionals were used in this card.

I hope you like my little cutie.
So now you have to go check out Joan's Garden if
you haven't already! She has lots of great stuff for sale
and a wonderful blog full of inspiration!!!!

Hugs
