Sympathy Card

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I have a sympathy card that I want
to share with you. I pray that this will in some way
help ease the grief for the lovely lady that I am
sending this to.

Its hard to see but the lace has distress ink on
it and it is a lot more cream then white, but it sure
came out white in the pictures for some reason.
Actually the last picture is more accurate of the colors.
Maybe I just need another camera
or a real photographer LOL LOL

I used Just Rite and SU stamps.
Nestibilities label four was also used.
Beautiful Mirabelle paper and SU cardstock.
Memento ink as well as my favorites Distress inks.
The pretty lace is from my stash, it was pregathered,
but I took out the gathering so it would lay flat.
The brads are from SU and some unknown ones.
You can see in the last picture
the envelope I did to match the card. I think adding
decorations to the envelope really finishes off the
whole project and so much of the time I can actually use
up left over scrapes from the project to do it with.
So there you have it my sympathy card.

Well I pray your not in need of any sympathy
cards, but if you do I hope this inspires you.

Hugs and Blessings to all of you!

Joan's Garden Tag Challenge

Hi again, gosh I can not believe I have yet another
posting for today, that makes three! WOW !
I am on a roll LOL

Here is my entry for the Tag challenge at Joan's
as well as for
week #92 challenge

For this tag I used an adorable Magnolia stamp
that I cut out after I had colored her with Copics
and Prismacolor pencils. The green CS is SU that
I embossed, then added direct to paper ink which made
 the embossing stand out more.
The doily and bells are from my stash. I used a SU punch then
added the bells directly to that piece of CS with jump rings.
The circle nestie was used on SU metallic gold CS.
The ribbon is from Michael's. I used liquid applique on her hat.
I hope you like my tag creation, it sure was fun to make!
So now its your turn to go check out Joan's and Magnolias challenges
 and get busy creating!!!
Hugs and Blessings

My project today used a flower I made with my friend

to Joan's Garden and join in the fun!!

Tag made into a card

Hi everyone!

I hope your enjoying your Super Bowl Sunday!

Today I wanted to show you what I ended up doing
with my tag I made for Joan's Challenge from this posting

As you can see I made it into a card.
I used a Hero Arts stamp & just embossed with
gold EP. This fabulous stamp I got at a wonderful
shop called,
The Stamp Pad ,in Zoar, Ohio.
A lovely little shop to visit!! Make sure you take
money, June has lots of great stuff you will have to
have, trust me, I know!!! LOL
Well hope you like what I did with my tag, and
by the way, I won that weeks tag challenge
with this tag, just honkin my own horn LOL!!

Joan's Garden Challenge #4

Hi Everyone,

Hope your not having problems with the freezing
rain and heavy snow! So far ours is very light but
it is early yet! Keeping my fingers crossed LOL!!

I just finished my card for Joan's Garden challenge #4
I made this a 6x6 card, lots of room to decorate it!
For all the guide lines go check her site out
Here!!!

I used the beautiful Mariposa paper, and SU Cardstock.
The word stamp was a SU one. I also used a Sizzix
embossing folder, gosh that is so much easier then
the old way to dry emboss LOL. Not sure which
embossing Joan was requiring sooo I also used
SU (retired) Olive embossing powder and versamark.
The lace is yellowish but photographed cream.
As I have said many times before I am not good at
photographing my projects need to take some lessons
some where I guess. I cut out two more butterflies
and used one with dimensionals to layer it and the
other glued it straight down.
Well that is it for this posting. Stay in and stay safe.
Hope you stop back again soon.
Hugs
Lana
