Wedding Card

Hi Everyone !

I sure hope your staying dry and warm. You
can sure tell it's fall time here in Northeastern Ohio!

Today I want to share with you a very
unusual wedding card I made for a dear friends
daughter who is getting married this week.
They are having a very unique wedding. The theme
is Vintage with Vintage Airplanes !!!
Yep very unique and just up my alley!
I have been told the table decorations are going to be
FauxVintage books, real antique items and old family photos of
Grandparents and Great Grandparents. So in keeping with that
theme, I made this "book type" wedding card using photos
of the happy couple on the day he proposed and
when she accepted. Hope you like it and as usual it's much
better looking in real life. I still haven't mastered
taking great photo's at all LOL!

Can you see the airplane label from the JustRite stamp set
has a hint of stickles around the frame to match
the inside paper. I used Distress
markers and ink to color the image with.

In this shot I folded back the ribbon I used as a book marker.
Hard to see but I frayed the end of the ribbon with the TH
scratcher tool to make it look old
.

Well there you have it my vintage "book" wedding card.
It sure was fun to make and the Happy Couple loved it !!!
Made my day to hear they were pleased with it.
AND to top it off I had showed it to my group of church
ladies and one lady asked me to make another one only this one is to be
a western theme but using the same inside papers hummmm time
to put my thinking cap on!! LOL
Well again I hope I have inspired you to think
outside the box, get inky and have fun.
God bless you all!
Hugs
Lana
