Graphics 45 Wall Canvas

Happy  Wedsnesday  !!!

Today I have a really fun project to share with you!
This is a wall canvas I made using the Graphics 45 paper,
"Once Upon a Springtime",
that I got from Joan's garden.
 I just love this paper!!
Notice how the teacup actually sits on a ledge in my photo tent
but is part of the canvas, so it does stick out from the canvas.
I actually cut down the inner part of the teacup die
pattern so it doesn't stick out too far.

Here is a list of what I used
Graphics 45 paper
SU CS and Grunge board
Tim Holtz Distress inks & Crackle paint
Gold Pilot marker
Tea Cup Die
Stickles
Dimensionals
Muslin
Tim Holtz Embossing folder
( for the technique I used on the leaves go here)
decorative nails / upholstery tacks
Most of these items can be gotten at Joan's Garden

Here are some pictures of how I made the flower in the teacup
All I did was fan fold in between each petal
area of the doily then add some Aileens Tacky Glue
to each center and then pinch and pinch until the bottom
looks like sample number 3  then snip the end a bit
then add that one to the next one and do the same as
the first layer and keep repeating this step until you have
all the layers you want. I used 3 layers for mine. I also put
some distress ink on it as you can see in the finished picture.

Lots of time went into making this project but it
was so worth it. I would love to know what you think
of it. If you have any questions feel free to email me.
I will have another post in a little while.
As you can see I have been a busy bee.
Until later hugs
Lana
