Good evening friends!
Tonight I am showing you my try at a different style
called Steampunk, by Graphic 45. It truly is out of my comfort
zone and I have decided its not my thing, but it was interesting to do.
As usual it didn't photograph very well but enough you can tell
most of it, but it doesn't show the layering and dimensionality
of it all, or the sparkle of the spica pen I used. Oh well LOL
Well there you have it. Here is the list of what I used:
A blank Canvas covered with Tim Holtz paper and Graphic 45 paper.
Crystal effects was used on most of the clocks on the paper
after some were cut and layered back on.
Spica pens were used over top of alot of the design.
Sharpie marker was also used to bring out more depth
in certain areas. Dimensionals and grunge board were also.
As you can see upholstery tacks were again used on this project.
Material piping and black pearls were added.
Well that is my take on Steampunk.
Hope your all staying cool, it is very very hot
and humid here in NE Ohio, ugh.
Hugs
Lana
I'm like you on Steampunk! Not quite my thing, but am going to give it a shot one of these days just to day that I did it! I enlarged your photos, and the layers were very clear - your project is absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing, Lana!!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow Lana, how cool is this! Don't you just love that gorgeous image, really love how you altered your canvas! TFS, have a great weekend, Ira
ReplyDeleteLana, a really fun card! You are so funny and you sound like me. I had a friend who loved this kind of art and I asked her to explain it to me so I could enjoy it. She said I was trying to hard and to just let it 'be'. LOLOL
